Asagaya Jazz Streets 2025 returns for its 31st edition, transforming the entire Asagaya neighborhood into a massive jazz stage. Over two days, more than 60 venues including shrines, churches, schools, shopping arcades, cafés, and open-air spaces will resonate with jazz. The lineup features world-renowned pianist Yosuke Yamashita, the FUJI ROCK–featured band Mitsuyoshi Azuma & The Swinging Boppers, composer and pianist Kensaku Tanikawa with his poetic collaborations, and idol-turned-jazz singer Yū Hayami. With ticketed concerts at public venues and free performances on the streets, the festival invites everyone—from families to jazz newcomers—to stroll through Asagaya and experience music woven into the town’s everyday scenery. Now a beloved autumn tradition in Suginami, this festival brings together generations and genres in a celebration of jazz and community.
