China Festival 2025

China Festival 2025 is one of the largest Chinese cultural events in Japan, returning to Yoyogi Park on September 6 and 7. Since its first edition in 2017, this vibrant festival has fostered deeper cultural exchange between Japan and China through food, art, tourism, economic talks, and youth interaction. Under the theme “Discover and Share Today’s China,” the 2025 edition will feature around 150 booths showcasing everything from regional delicacies and traditional crafts to the latest trends in Chinese lifestyle and business. The event kicks off with an official opening ceremony on Saturday at 11:00 AM. Come enjoy two full days of Chinese culture in the heart of Tokyo—rain or shine!

The Jingu Gaien Fireworks Festival 2025 brings together the magic of 10,000 fireworks and live music in Tokyo’s heart on Saturday, August 16. As the only urban fireworks event in the city paired with full-scale concerts, it offers a one-of-a-kind summer night experience. The fireworks are launched from the Jingu Baseball Stadium, while live performances by major artists take place across the Jingu Stadium and Chichibunomiya Rugby Stadium. Previous years featured stars like Ken Matsudaira and Aqua Timez, and this year promises an equally spectacular lineup. Don’t miss the vibrant atmosphere, dazzling pyrotechnics, and electric performances that make this festival a summer highlight. In case of stormy weather, the event will be postponed to Sunday, August 17.

Asakusa Samba Carnival 2025 is back with even more passion and rhythm as it celebrates its 40th anniversary on Saturday, August 30. This year also marks the 130th anniversary of Japan–Brazil diplomatic relations, adding extra sparkle to this iconic summer event. Held in the heart of Tokyo’s historic Asakusa district, the carnival transforms Umamichi Street and Kaminarimon Street into a lively stage filled with dazzling costumes, energetic samba dancers, and elaborately decorated floats. The S1 and S2 league competitions feature some of Japan’s top samba teams in an electrifying showdown. At the same time, a Brazilian market will be set up inside the Sensoji Temple grounds, offering visitors a taste of authentic Brazilian culture. Don’t miss one of the largest samba parades in the Northern Hemisphere – it’s a Tokyo summer tradition like no other!
