Yokai Bon Odori 2025
Yokai Bon Odori 2025 turns Tachikawa into a mysterious festival space where tradition meets fantasy. For three days, visitors can experience live performances on the yagura stage, including music concerts, a “Yokai Disco,” traditional ohayashi by the Tachikawa Ohayashi Preservation Society, and the enchanting “Fox Wedding” parade. The program also features a Yokai Contest and discussions led by renowned yokai researchers, celebrating Japanese folklore and culture. With food stalls, yokai-themed markets, and plenty of space for costumes and fun, the event is perfect for families, friends, and anyone eager to step into a world where yokai come alive.
